This is the 8th and Final album from Nightmare of Sovereignty.
The guitar tuning for this album is (from thickest to thinnest):

This is certainly the lightest album of the discography, but I feel like I still brought some heaviness to the table. Released on the Summer Solstice, it's the only NOS album not released in December. The breaking of a pattern I believe is a significant form of symbolism that ties in with the theme of the grand finale (Irony).
This album was partially written back when the 5th album was being recorded; and the former guitarist had his doubts about trying to write in this tuning. Hopefully you all like what I came up with. I feel like this album is made up of 3 acts, and a closing piece.
Each act begins with rain, followed by two traditionally-styled songs; but once it's all over, the rain returns one last time to wash it all away.

Honestly, I considered not adding any vocals to this whole album. I considered making it just a jamming instrumental, and letting the Music speak for itself; because after 7 albums of preaching politics in the hopes of "waking people up" and "encouraging people to seek God", if fans hadn't by now, what good would it be to repeat myself one last time on the way out the door??
However, I also considered the fact that... well, if people have stuck around this long, perhaps what I have to say is what fans like to hear; so, I guess I'll give the people what they want.
Lyrically, instead of just targeting obscure "globalists" and "elites"; on this album I decided to take the fight to the streets. I decided to call out the two cults of hypocrites, who wish to burn the nation down in hopes of killing the other group.

Over the years, I've screamed about many topics; from literal angles, metaphorical angles, hyperbolic angles, and satirical angles. Sometimes the voice of a song speaks as a villain, other times as a victim. Sometimes the voice of a song is a hero, and other times it's just me; a politically awake observer. Music is art; just like writing a book. It's a way to tell a story; to speak; to influence; as well as simply entertain.

I hope that the underlining message of my music has reached you.
I hope that all of my efforts have left you with something grander than just a nice breakdown to head bang to; but if not, at least you enjoyed banging your head with me, and my former band mates.

Stay metal my friends; and whenever it's raining, remember Nightmare of Sovereignty.
